First of all because Cliff Richard deserves much appreciaton for all he has done, and still is doing, in showbusiness and not at least to other people.

Further because there seems to be no chronological overview of what Cliff has done over the years. This site will grow with info. Not only with info that can be found on the internet or in books about Cliff, but for a great part also with your comments and adds. This site can only be a success with your help. What this site differs from books etc. is the possibility to link to articles and video’s. Not long ago I started to link songtitles to YouTube clips (mainly at the December page, but this will be extended to other pages as well).

Do you know how much Cliff donates to charitable organisations? It is said Cliff donates around £500,000 each year to charitable causes. It is assumed that is about 10% of his yearly income.

Cliff Richard was knighted on 25 October 1995. Not for his contribution to the (British) music industry, but for his charities.

On 14 October 2011 Cliff celebrated his 71st birthday. Although he is not ‘forever young’, it is amazingly how young and fit he looks for his age. See this picture taken in 2010.

What I will try is to give you a historical day by day review of what Cliff has done over the years since he started his career in 1958. And it is not just me who is doing so.

On 24 August 2010 I started within the Cliff Richard Move It list an issue which I called: this day in Cliff history. Within weeks it turned out that Cliff fans showed much interest in this.

Comments and adds were and are coming from all over the world. And therefore, this site is a growing website. All contributions are most welcome. You may think of the Wikipedia site: everyone can add facts, memories and so on. You can send them here.
